Dr. Kathy Stanton, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist licensed in Texas and registered to practice in PSYPACT states. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, focusing on psychology with children and families, integrated behavioral health, and trauma-informed care. Her pre-doctoral internship at Westcoast Children’s Clinic and post-doctoral training at UCSF’s Infant-Parent Program laid the foundation for her expertise in perinatal mental health, infant-parent psychotherapy, and early childhood mental health consultation.
Dr. Stanton is trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and EMDR therapies. Her experience spans work with adults, adolescents, children, and families across various clinical settings, such as community mental health, hospitals, and schools. Passionate about supporting individuals and families throughout their lives, she serves as a therapist, consultant, educator, and assessor, offering compassionate, trauma-informed care.
