International Clinical Team
Culturally Responsive Psychological Evaluations for Clients Across Borders
At PECGNA, we understand that many clients begin their psychological evaluation journey outside the United States—yet are required to submit documentation that meets U.S. licensing board standards, follows the APA Ethics Code, and is accepted by American clinics, legal teams, or government agencies.
This creates a unique challenge: how can clients receive an evaluation that is both professionally valid in the U.S. and also reflects their cultural background, native language, and regional mental health norms?
PECGNA was established to solve this problem responsibly.
Through our International Clinical Team, we coordinate evaluations led or reviewed by U.S.-licensed mental health professionals while incorporating input from licensed international consultants when appropriate. This model ensures that our evaluations are:
Compliant with U.S. state board documentation and scope-of-practice rules
Developed in alignment with APA ethical principles, including multicultural competence, informed consent, and accuracy in reporting
Adapted to reflect the client’s cultural context, language needs, and jurisdictional considerations—when clinically appropriate and legally permitted
Whether supporting intended parents, egg donors, trauma survivors, or immigration applicants, PECGNA bridges the gap between where a client lives and where their evaluation must be accepted. Our mission is to ensure every client receives an evaluation that is not only clinically sound but also culturally and ethically responsive, ready for use within U.S. systems without sacrificing relevance or accuracy abroad.
Global Compliance Disclaimer: PECGNA evaluations are conducted by clinicians licensed in the United States and follow the APA Ethics Code as well as applicable U.S. state licensing board regulations. When international professionals are involved, they participate only in consultative roles within the limits of their local licensure. Evaluations do not constitute cross-jurisdictional psychological services unless expressly authorized by relevant licensing authorities.
